ELIMINATION CHAMBER REVIEW

What a night it was at Elimination Chamber! We got to see an innovative Tag Team match, Kevin Owens debut and Dean Ambrose running away with the title.
Let's begin with the match of the night, and an early match of the year candidate: Kevin Owens vs. John Cena. This match was so exciting to watch. Nearfalls, innovative moves and a back and forth war. Kevin Owens made an absolute statement that he has arrived and is a big time player. No one thought that Kevin Owens, in his first match on the main roster would beat John Cena clean. There are only a handful of people in Cena's career that have beaten him clean, so that tells you a lot about what the WWE brass think of Kevin Owens. He had an incredible performance, showing us moves you didn't expect from someone his size (Moonsault off top rope) and other innovative moves we have not seen before. They announced the rematch at Money in the Bank, where I am assuming Cena will get his revenge, but for now we enjoy a huge win by an NXT star!

Another big thing that happened was the swerve that happened in the Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins match. Everyone watching thought Dean Ambrose won the title for a split second and I was shocked. Turns out it was a swerve and he only won by DQ so Rollins gets to keep the title. They have started a new Ambrose stealing the title storyline, so I am interested in seeing where they take this one.

Overall the Owens Cena match was the highlight for me. Tag Team titles match along with Seth vs Dean were fun to watch and exciting. The rest of the card to me was a bit bland. The IC title match was boring and sloppy. It was the worst match of the night for sure. What are your thoughts?
