Charlotte recently posted her goals for 2016:
I think she will accomplish goal number 1. I think they are waiting for the right push for Sasha Banks vs Charlotte that will spill into WrestleMania 32. I also think considering all of the recent WWE.com polls on titles needing appearance changes, it might not be that lofty of a goal for her to bring back the Women's championship. A majority of fans want the Women's title back and maybe 2016 is the year we see a change?
I think Charlotte's goal to main event a PPV in 2016 is the loftiest. Until they make the change to the Women's championship, I don't think the WWE will ever justify making a Divas title match the main event. If they do pull the trigger and further legitimize Women's wrestling like they are doing in NXT, I would see no problem with a Women's main event with the right build.
