Brad Maddox, now going as Mad Braddox on the independent scene, recently was interviewed by Aaron Oster of Rolling Stone about why he was fired by the WWE.
"What, exactly, led to you being released from WWE last week?I had a dark match in Indianapolis and I called the Indianapolis crowd "pricks." I didn't think anything of it. That's never been a bad word to me. I didn't think it was inappropriate. Vince [McMahon] was watching and did not like it. That was pretty much the reason"

Wow... Brad Maddox called the crowd "pricks" and was instantly fired from the company. Shows how tight of a leash he must have been on if that got him fired. I get that it's a PG company but that must have been brewing for a while. Maybe this is the best news for Brad as being on the independent scene will allow him to make himself more money. His name is fairly hot right now and I am sure he can get some decent money for show appearances.
