SUMMERSLAM REVIEW!!

Summerslam has came and went. NXT Takeover Brooklyn set the bar pretty high the night before that was pretty tough to live up to. I think right off the bat that Summerslam was an good show. It had me entertained at many points but I was also left wanting more in others. Let's start with what I loved.

For me, the most impressive part was probably how well Stephen Amell performed. A lot of celebrity guests come in and it just never works out. Amell was taking legitimate bumps and in the match a fair bit. I loved this angle and I think that Amell absolutely killed it!

The best match for me was Rollins vs Cena. This was so fun to watch with both guys performing really well. I loved the swerve of Jon Stewart coming to help Seth. Keeps heel heat on Seth for not winning fairly and keeps Cena strong. I think this feud continues until Night Of Champions for sure. Seth Rollins has such an impressive move set to watch it is insane. Phoenix Splash, standing shooting star press, ect.. This guy has a move set that is fit to be cheered and when he turns face one day he will be absolutely loved!

Love that the New Day are the tag champs again! They are so entertaining to watch! Their entrance song had me dying laughing last night!

Odd ending for the Taker / Lesnar match. Taker tapped out but the ref didn't see it (somehow the timekeeper did?). Lesnar passed out due to the Hells' Gate, making this a screwy finish. I guess they are setting up Taker/Lesnar 3???? Does anyone really want to see this again?

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Wyatt Family was decent. Crowd hated Roman but loved Dean. I thought we were going to see a heel turn or a surprise appearance but we ended up with just a standard tag match.

The Divas match was not too bad. I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was not single elimination for the whole team and they got more time! Need to see the Divas title be involved at Night of Champions. Charlotte v Sasha Banks v Nikki Bella would be my pick!

Cesaro vs Owens was a solid match! Really impressed with Owens who was in a ladder match the night before and still put on a good show. I think him winning was the right call, he really needed a PPV win after losing his last couple. Hopefully this feud extends and possibly get a title in the mix here somehow!

Very interested to see what happens tonight on RAW!!! Will we see Enzo and Big Cass? It is Vince Mcmahon's 70th birthday so will we see him on TV? Will we see Sting or Kane???
