Well the WWE Network is giving away 30 days free starting in July. In the past, they gave away months for free but it seems like they are switching to a Netflix like subscription basis where you get 30 days free whenever you sign up. In today's society though I think it is smart because people want to try before they buy. The month the WWE usually gives away for free is great value on the first few days of the month but slowly decreases, discouraging sign ups. I think they might as well try this business model and see how it goes. Don't give away any free things for the big PPV's (WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble) but everything else try and gain subscribers however you can. What do you think about this? Is this a smart business model for the WWE?
