Wanted to post this tweet from Tyson Kidd, because it shows us the risk that these wrestlers take on a daily basis in order to entertain us. It is being reported that it was a freak accident when Kidd was injured and almost resulted in him being paralyzed or dead! I personally was guilty for wondering when/if would be able to return to a WWE ring for my selfish reasons, since I loved watching him. Yet, this tweet shows us that it is so much more than that. This could have costed him his life or the use of his legs. We have seen over the years that wrestling superstars have been seriously injured inside of the ring. They risk their lives in order to entertain us and I don't know if they get the credit they deserve!
Super thankful as a fan and a human being, that Tyson Kidd is one of the lucky ones and will recover! I hope first and foremost that he is able to make a full recovery and won't have any further problems with his neck. Second, I hope he is able to recover and continue to do what he loves and possibly get inside the ring again. If he isn't able to, I know he would make an amazing road agent or trainer because he was so skilled in the ring.
