SMACKDOWN FALLOUT, APRIL 2ND/15

The biggest take away for from Smackdown was that Kane is 'considering' giving Randy Orton a title shot at Extreme Rules vs. Seth Rollins after he defeated him at WrestleMania. In wrestling terms, 'considering' usually means that the match is going to happen after a couple weeks of delay. This makes sense as Randy pinned him at 'Mania before Seth cashed in and won the belt so he should be the first to get a shot. Where it becomes interesting is if Roman Reigns will be added into the mix at Extreme Rules. He was pinned at WrestleMania but has a legitimate argument that Seth took advantage of a situation as the only reason why he didn't win the title. Look for him to be added into the mix as Extreme Rules approaches.

The night also gave us another match for Extreme Rules. John Cena vs, Rusev will be happening it looks like as Rusev says he is using his re-match clause. I am not sure how they are going to attack this angle as it would seem a bit silly to have the exact same match as WrestleMania the next month at Extreme Rules. Only difference being that Cena is wearing the belt and not Rusev. Look for something to happen within the next month that turns this one into a 'Extreme Rules' type of match.

The final event that took place was the in-ring return of Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan. Sheamus looked impressive in his count-out win but the real take away is that he busted Bryan wide open and he was bleeding like crazy. WWE has become 'PG' over the past years and blood is usually a no-go for matches. There are rumors that Sheamus is a stiff worker and puts a physical toll on peoples bodies who he goes into the ring with. Was this just an example of Sheamus working too stiff that he hurt Bryan? Is it smart for the WWE to put their most popular superstar Daniel Bryan, who has a history of injury problems with a stiff worker like Sheamus?
